Fertilizing

Fertilizer is a substance that contains plant nutrients. It plays a major role in producing and maintaining a dense, pest-resistant and greener lawn.

Crabgrass Control

This grass has a creeping or lying down stem in appearance and is often a pest in turf. This year’s crabgrass comes from last year’s crabgrass seeds. For best results controlling crabgrass, seedlings should be treated before they appear.

Broadleaf Weed Control

Typical Broadleaf weeds are Dandelions, Clover, Plantain and Thistle. These weeds are best controlled with a combination of two application treatments per year.

Turf Winterization

This application of fertilizer provides your lawn with nutrients that will aid in the protection of your lawn during the harsh winter months. It will also create a greener lawn in the spring.

Grub Control

Grub worms are white or cream in color and resemble a C shape. Grubs are the larvae of beetles. They lay their eggs in the soil and within weeks, the grub worms emerge. They feed on grass, grass roots and garden crops during the warm summer months. Spring treatment is provided as necessary, but mid-summer is our normal recommended time.

Aeration

Core aeration is particularly needed by lawns that receive heavy use or have compacted soil that restricts the movement of air, water and fertilizer to the roots. Aeration helps rejuvenate your lawn, allowing the air, water and fertilizer to reach deeper for a healthier lawn. We highly recommend your lawn be aerated once a year, especially for heavy compacted soil.

Fertilization for Newly Installed Lawns

We call this our starter program. Your lawn will receive a specific blend of nitrogen, phosphorus and potash to promote root growth for your newly installed grass.

Soil testing can be provided upon request. All our fertilizer programs are phosphorus free and lake safe.

Noticeable results guaranteed! If you are not satisfied with the results of any treatment, simply call us; we’ll make it right. We are committed to quality service and customer satisfaction.

Relax and enjoy a beautiful lawn this season while we do the work! We take great pride in delivering expert and professional service to all our customers.
